Heritage Crafts Knowledge Repository ---------------------------------- The Heritage Crafts Knowledge Repository accepts donations in many forms from monetary donations to physical items and property. (Although, We do have an immediate use for items related to the arts, crafts, cultural heritage crafting, very early manufacturing, and more.) To donate books: Send your books to us and we will send you a receipt for $50 for each book donated, that you can claim on your 2024 taxes, to be filed in April 2025. If you have books to donate which have a higher value than $50, please let us know, and we will compensate you with a charitable donation receipt EQUAL to its current value. Again, there is no Limit to the number of books, or limit to their maximum value. We accept all books. You do NOT need to be the author of the books you donate. Although we accept all books, we have a particular desire for crafting books, art books, repair manuals, home improvement & repair, all trade fields (carpentry, elect., plumbing,) out dated auto repair manuals, technical books, "how to" books, and even old or antique books. Our JOB is to protect books. DONATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED AND RECORDED BEFORE DECEMBER 31, 2024 IN ORDER FOR YOUR RECEIPT TO BE DEDUCTIBLE IN APRIL 2025. (its the law.) The more books you send the bigger the receipt. We do not sell or resell books. Ever. We put all books in our repository library collection for future generations. We are also willing to consider all other donations of ANY kind. There are 2 kinds of items we can accept, Items that we can use immediately/or saved for our use later, and items that can be resold so we may meet operating costs & or purchase supplies to make more books, items, videos, etc. . Items we would put to immediate use include: office supplies, building materials, craft supplies, pottery supplies, kilns, kiln supplies, weaving looms, fiber spinning equipment, beading supplies, leather working equipment, supplies and materials, stone working equipment and supplies, metal working equipment and supplies, wood working related items, personal and real property and much more. Items that may be resold include personal items, vehicles, machinery, jewelry, collectibles, and even real estate. If you have arts and crafts supplies, materials, tools, etc. and wish to donate them, please feel free to email us directly ( Support ) and let us know what you have, and we will be sure to reply promptly. we will happily give you a receipt for the donations value so that you may claim it on your taxes as donations to us are tax deductible.
